- General description: Lisofylline (LSF) is a synthetically modified methylxanthine which is known to exhibit various therapeutic properties. It is a potent anti-inflammatory agent and an antioxidant with the ability to suppress oxygen radical production. LSF is used for treating acute lung injury and also has a role in the early treatment of diabetes.[1][2][3][4]
