Description
- Application: Dowex 1X4, anion-exchange resin, was used as adsorbent material in characterization of iodinated contrast media using 11B NMR and capillary electrophoresis.[1] The unreacted fluoride in a solution was removed by passing the solution through a column packed with Dowex 1X4-50 chloride form.[2]
- Features and Benefits: strongly basic anion.
- Other Notes: This ion-exchange resin has not been specially processed nor cleaned. We suggest that it be treated to a suitable preliminary elution and wash.
