Description

  • Application: N-(1-Naphthyl)ethylenediamine dihydrochloride dissolved in sulfuric acid-methanol may be used as a reagent for the determination of sugar on thin layer plates.[1] It may also be used for the determination of sub-micromolar concentrations of nitrite ion after diazotisation with sulphanilic acid at low pH, by differential-pulse polarography.[2] It may also be used as the coupling agent for the spectrophotometric determination of aniline by the diazotization-coupling method.[3]
