Description

  • General description: Sodium phosphate dibasic is a sodium salt of phosphoric acid. It is highly hygroscopic and water-soluble compound used as a texturizer, emulsifier, and buffer. It can also be used as a reagent in water softeners, cleaners, and boiler treatments process.
  • Application: Sodium phosphate dibasic can be used:As an efficient and low-cost catalyst for the synthesis of 2-aminochrome by the reaction between aromatic aldehyde, malononitrile, and α- or β-naphthol under solvent-free conditions. As a buffer in the synthesis of cyclic, acyclic enones and α, β-unsaturated aldehydes from trimethylsilyl enol ethers by using palladium as a catalyst and oxone as oxidant. As an efficient catalyst in the synthesis of 3,4-dihydropyrano[3,2-c] chromenes from aldehydes, malononitrile and 4-hydroxycoumarin.As a phosphorous precursor with the phosphoric acid in the synthesis of hydroxyapatite by precipitation method using anionic surfactant SDS (sodium dodefcyl sulfate).
