Description

  • General description: (S)-Trolox methyl ether is a chiral derivatizating agent, which is employed for derivatizing enantiomers into diastereoisomers.
  • Application: (S)-Trolox methyl ether may be used as a chiral derivatizing reagent for the following:         analysis of chiral alcohols by capillary gas chromatography (GC) and supercritical fluid chromatography (SFC)[1]        enantiomeric separation of several benzodiazepines using gas chromatography (GC), supercritical fluid chromatography (SFC) and subcritical fluid chromatography techniques[2]
  • Packaging: Bottomless glass bottle. Contents are inside inserted fused cone.
  • Other Notes: Chiral derivatizing agent for alcohols; some methyl substituted primary alcohols which are difficult to separate otherwise, can also be separated[3][4]
  • Recommended products: Discover LiChropur reagents ideal for HPLC or LC-MS analysis
  • Legal Information: LiChropur is a trademark of Merck KGaA, Darmstadt, Germany
