Description

  • General description: The SRM 2451 unit contains a bottle with 100 g of activated fine-powder carbon, which is obtained through the leaching of ore with a cyanide solution. For more information, please refer to the SDS and COA.SRM 2451_certSRM 2451_SDS
  • Application: Fine carbon standard referencematerial (SRM) is intended to evaluate the chemical analysis methods and tocalibrate the instrumental methods of analysis.
  • Features and Benefits: NIST certified values for mercury are provided, values are metrologically traceable to the SI unit of mass, expressed as milligrams per kilogram. A reference value for gold is reported based on dry mass basis and determined by inductively coupled plasma massspectrometry (ICP-MS). The information value for cyanide is provided and is determined using EPA method SW-846 9012a, and the mass fraction is reported on a dry mass basis.Expiration details and instructions for use are provided on the NIST certificate.
  • Other Notes: Certified for the analytes listed below. Mercury (Hg)Reference/Informational value is provided for the following analytes.Gold (Au), Cyanide (CN–)See certificate for values and more details at nist.gov/SRM.
  • Legal Information: NIST is a registered trademark of National Institute of Standards and Technology
