Description

  • General description: This Standard Reference Material is a solution of ethanol in water with a nominal concentration of 0.02 % by mass.   • Application: Ethanol-water solution is intended for use with calibrating instruments and techniques used for the determination of ethanol in blood.
  • Features and Benefits: The certified values for ethanol are provided, that are metrological traceability to the International System of Units (SI) derived unit for mass fraction, expressed as a percentage and determined by gas chromatography with flame ionization detection (GC-FID) and Karl Fischer analysis.
