- General description: Capreomycin sulfate is a disulfate salt of the polypeptide antibiotic drug, capreomycin, that is administered either parenterally or in the form of aerosols. It is generally used against multidrug-resistant tuberculosis (MDR-TB).[1]Pharmaceutical secondary standard for application in quality control.
