Description

  • Description: The monoclonal rat IgG2a is useful as an isotype control immunoglobulin
  • Applications Reported: Rat IgG2a Isotype Control eFluor® 615 has been reported for use in immunohistochemical and immunocytochemical staining
  • Applications Tested: Rat IgG2a Isotype Control eFluor® 615 has been tested by immunocytochemistry or immunohistochemistry
  • Use at the same concentration as the experimental antibody
  • This product has not been validated for flow cytometric analysis
  • Filter Recommendation: When using this eFluor® 615 antibody conjugate, we recommend a filter that will capture the 615 emission wavelength (for example, Excitation 560/55, 585LP, Emission 645/75)
  • A standard Alexa Fluor® 594 filter is acceptable
  • Excitation: 595 nm; Emission: 615 nm
  • Filtration: 0.2 μm post-manufacturing filtered
  • Rat IgG2a is an immunoglobulin subclass that is commonly used in research and diagnostic applications
  • It is produced by the rat immune system and is known for its ability to activate complement and mediate antibody-dependent cell-mediated cytotoxicity (ADCC)
  • Rat IgG2a has a molecular weight of approximately 160 kDa and is composed of two heavy chains and two light chains
  • It is often used as a control or reference antibody in experiments involving rat models, and is also commonly used in flow cytometry and immunohistochemistry applications.
