- Application: ʟ-Penicillamine is used: In the synthesis of Cu nanoclusters (CuNCs) from copper(II).[3]In the preparation of ligands based onpyridine-2,6-dicarboxylic acid, which is in combination with cobalt (III) to convert acetonitrile to acetamide and benzonitrile to benzamide.[4]
