- General description: This building block is prepared from highly purified PEG to ensure homogeneous products free from contaminating PEG oligomers. In this derivative the azido group acts as an orthogonally masked amine; it is stable to both TFA and piperidine but is easily converted to an amine by treatment with phosphines or thiols.
