Description

  • Application: Potassium citrate tribasic monohydrate has been used in interconnected porous carbon nanosheets (IPCNs) synthesis.[1] It has also been used to study the use of clinical-grade Garcinia cambogia in Drosophila kidney stone models.[2]
  • Biochem/physiol Actions: Potassium citrate can be used to prepare citrate water that supports the survival of streptozotocin (STZ)-diabetic mice.[3] It might reduce the successive stone formation in calcium nephrolithiasis.[4] Potassium citrate serves as an activator for producing activated carbons.[5]
