Description
- General description: Glycine is used as a bulking agent buffers. Glycine at low concentrations prevents pH decrease in solutions. It also stabilizes a protein when present in an amorphous state.[1]
- Application: Glycine Buffer solution has been used in the assay buffer for the enzymatic determination of lactate using lactic dehydrogenase from coelomic fluid,[2] kidney extracts[3] and perfusate of fish heart.[4]
