Description
- Application: Potassium Phosphate Monobasic solution has been used as a component of phosphate buffered saline for treating oligonucleotide nanoparticle[1] and silver nanoparticle.[2] It has also been used in the preparation of phosphate buffer used for high performance liquid chromatography-electrochemical detection (HPLC-ECD) system.[3]
- Biochem/physiol Actions: Potassium Phosphate Monobasic solution in combination with sodium acetate is employed in improving the shelf life of the catfish fillets during refrigeration.[4] It is a sequestrant and neutralizing agent and preserves the colour of egg.[1]
