- General description: Sodium phosphate monobasic acts as an acidulant in laxatives and effervescent powders. It is used in beverages, cheese and soft drink formulations.[1]
- Application: Sodium phosphate monobasic has been used:as a reagent for virus transfection and fiber implantation in mouse[2]in phosphate buffer for immunocytochemistry[3] and to detect individual catalase activity by PAGE (polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis)[4]as a buffer for cycling assay[5]in automated DNA extraction method[6]as a chemical in artificial cerebro-spinal fluid (aCSF) solution for the preparation of brainstem-spinal cord from rats[7]
