Description

  • General description: TES sodium salt belongs to the category of zwitterionic buffers that contain ionizable groups of both positive and negative charges.[1][2] It has a high water solubility and can effectively stabilize pH levels within the physiological pH range of 6.8 to 8.2 over a broad range of temperatures.[2] TES sodium salt is used in the preparation of electrophoresis buffers.[3] It is one of the commonly used Good buffers[4] in biochemistry and molecular biology research.
