- Application: 10-Undecenoic acid has been used to study the methods and mechanisms for the formation of molecular monolayers on silicon surface[2]. It was used as starting reagent in the syntheses of pheromone (11Z)-hexadecenal and agriculturally important insect pheromones[3].
