  • General description: N,N-Diisopropylethylamine (DIPEA), also known as Hunig′s base, is a sterically hindered amine. It is a non-nucleophilic base commonly employed in substitution reactions, alkylations, and amide couplings, etc.[1][2] DIPEA is also used as a base in the Pd catalyzed cross-coupling reactions, which include Heck coupling and Sonagashira coupling reactions.[3][4]
