Description

  • General description: Nickel foil has been used as a substrate for the growth of several nanomaterials. A superhydrophobic surface of nanowire structure was grown on a nickel foil by solution immersion method.[1] Co2O4 nanorods may be grown on nickel foil by hydrothermal reaction.[2] A study reports the growth of carbon nanofibers on nickel, as a catalyst by chemical vapor deposition (CVD).[3] Nickel foils may also act as base for (Pb0.92La0.08)(Zr0.52Ti0.48)O3 (PLZT) films.[4]
