Description

  • General description: Potassium dicyanoaurate(I) is an inorganic salt, soluble in water and sparingly soluble in alcohol. It is widely used as an electrolyte in the electrodeposition of gold on various substrates such as thin films and electrodes.[1]
  • Application: Potassium dicyanoaurate(I) can be used:To prepare gold nanowire array electrodes with fast charge transfer ability.[2]As a supporting electrolyte for the electrodeposition of gold in organic media.[3]To prepare polypyrrole-ClO4 gas sensors with fast response time and high sensitivity to volatile organic compounds.[4] In the electrochemical preparation of gold nanoparticle composites.[5]
