- General description: Cobalt naphthenate is the catalyst that promotes the curing process and allows effective cross-linking for a variety of polymeric films.[1]
- Application: Cobalt naphthenate may be used as a catalyst that facilitates the free radical polymerization of (3-methacryloxypropyl)trimethoxysilane (MPS), which can be used to functionalize alumina nanoparticles.[2] It can be used as a promoter for the development of unsaturated flame retardant polyesters.[3]
