  • General description: ECO Brij® C10 is an ethoxylated natural fatty alcohol, a nonionic bio-based surfactant produced from naturally occurring straight chain cetyl alcohol. This naturally derived detergent offers a number of functional benefits including detergency, wetting and dispersing making it suitable for a range of applications in biochemical and biological research.
  • Application: Brij® C10 is a surfactant that can be used for applications such as: improving the wetting of PEDOT:PSS which can further be used in the fabrication of thin film transistors[1], formation of reverse micelles for the synthesis of high yielding nanostructures[2], in the preparation of platinum electrode for fuel cell applications[3]
