Description
- Applications: For evaluation, maintenance, selective enrichment, differentiation, isolation, cultivation, detection, propagation of bacteria
- Letheen Broth contains beef extract and peptone which provide the carbon and nitrogen sources required for growth of a wide variety of organisms
- Lecithin and polysorbate 80 are added to neutralize surface disinfectants
- Lecithin is added to neutralize quaternary ammonium compounds and polysorbate 80 is incorporated to neutralize phenols, hexachlorophene, formalin and, with lecithin, ethanol
- We do not use it for phenol coefficient determination, but rather for the neutralization of the most commonly encountered antimicrobials in antimicrobial testing of textile products.
