LanthaScreen™ Tb-Streptavidin is supplied at 1 mg/ml and contains the streptavidin in HEPES buffered saline, 400 μl of the fluorescein-labeled, biotinylated peptide for use as a positive control, and 100 ml of TR-FRET Dilution Buffer. - As part of the LanthaScreen™ TR-FRET Toolbox of assay reagents, LanthaScreen™ Tb-labeled streptavidin is a generic reagent that can be used to easily label biotinylated biomolecules with terbium for use in TR-FRET assays
- Although the terbium chelate donor can be directly attached to a biomolecule such as a protein or peptide, the Tb-labeled streptavidin can be indirectly attached to a target molecule through a biotin-mediated association with Tb-labeled streptavidin.
