• General description: Anti-Rat IgG (whole molecule) is produced in rabbit using purified rat IgG as the immunogen.
• Specificity: Rabbit polyclonal anti-Rat IgG (whole molecule)−FITC antibody reacts with rat IgG in vitro, in rat serum and biological fluids.
• Immunogen: Purified rat IgG
• Application: Anti-Rat IgG (whole molecule)-FITC antibody has been used:in immunolabelling for confocal laser scanning microscopy (CLSM)in immunostaining
• Biochem/physiol Actions: IgGs are glycoprotein antibodies that modulate several immune responses. IgG crosses the placental barrier, is a complement activator and binds to the Fc-receptors on phagocytic cells. The level of IgG may vary with the status of disease or infection. Thus, secondary anti-rat IgG is a useful tool for the analysis of target proteins.

• Physical form: Solution in 0.01 M phosphate buffered saline, pH 7.4, containing 15 mM sodium azide.
