Description

  • General description: CC chemokine ligand 18 (CCL18) is expressed at high levels in human lung and serum. This CC chemokine can be found in primates only. The CCL18 gene is mapped to the human chromosome 17q11.2.[1]
  • Immunogen: Recombinant Human PARC
  • Application: For research use only. Not for use in diagnostic procedures. Please refer to the attached General ELISA KIT Procedure (sandwich, competitive & Indirect ELISA)
  • Biochem/physiol Actions: C-C motif chemokine ligand 18 (CCL18) has immunological functions and is associated with tumor progression. It is secreted by tumor associated macrophages (TAMs). The protein recruits naive T-cells and dendritic cells, and induces regulatory T-cells. It also acts as a chemokine for helper T lymphocytes and cytotoxic T lymphocytes. CCL18 has been implicated in the pathogenesis of many cancers.[2][3]
  • Other Notes: A sample Certificate of Analysis is available for this product. Please type the word sample in the text box provided for lot number.
