Description

  • General description: The Human MCP-3 (Monocyte Chemoattractant Protein-3) ELISA (Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay) kit is an in vitro enzyme- linked immunosorbent assay for the quantitative measurement of human MCP-3 in serum, plasma, cell culture supernatants and urine.
  • Immunogen: Recombinant Human MCP3
  • Application: For research use only. Not for use in diagnostic procedures. Please refer to the attached General ELISA KIT Procedure (sandwich, competitive & Indirect ELISA)
  • Biochem/physiol Actions: Monocyte-chemotactic protein 3 (MCP3), also known as chemokine (C-C motif) ligand 7 (CCL7), has an ability to attract and activate a large panel of leukocytes including monocytes, eosinophils, basophils, dendritic cells, natural killer cells and activated T lymphocytes. This property of the protein makes it favorable for antitumor therapy.[1] Mutation in the gene is associated with the development of Crohn′s Disease (CD).[2] Elevated expression of the gene contributes to the development of gastric cancer (GC). Thus, it acts as a potent diagnostic marker for GC.[3]
  • Other Notes: A sample Certificate of Analysis is available for this product. Please type the word sample in the text box provided for lot number.
