- General description: The Rat TCK-1 (Thymus Chemokine-1) ELISA (Enzyme- Linked Immunosorbent Assay) kit is an in vitro enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay for the quantitative measurement of Rat TCK-1 in serum, plasma, cell culture supernatants and urine.

- Biochem/physiol Actions: Pro-platelet basic protein (PPBP)/chemokine (C-X-C motif) ligand 7 (CXCL7) is a platelet-derived growth factor. It acts as an effective chemoattractant and neutrophil activator.[1] CXCL7 interacts with its receptor C-X-C motif chemokine receptor 1/2 to promote tumor angiogenesis and tumor cell migration.[1] Overexpression of the gene has been observed in peripheral blood cells of patients with renal cell carcinoma (RCC). Thus, it might be considered as a potent diagnostic marker for RCC.[1]
