- Application: 5-Carboxy-tetramethylrhodamine N-succinimidyl ester (5-TAMRA) is used as an amine coupling reagent to form 5-carboxy-tetramethylrhodamine (5-TAMRA) derivatized compounds. 5-TAMRA derivatized compounds may be used in applications as enzyme substrates, molecular probes, molecular beacons and as fluorescence resonance energy transfer (FRET) partners.
