Description
- General description: Chrysophanol is an anthraquinone compound and occurs naturally in Chinese herb Rheum officinale.[1] It shows antimicrobial activity, and is an active component in many crude drugs having purgative properties.[2]
- Application: It may be used as reference standard in analyzing bioactive components (hyperin, nobiletin, hesperidin, emodin, chrysophanol, resveratrol, curcumine, and physcion) in Danning tablets using HPLC-UV and HPLC-ESI-MS.[3]
- Packaging: Bottomless glass bottle. Contents are inside inserted fused cone.
