- Application: Carbamazepine may be used as a pharmaceutical reference standard for the quantification of the analyte in pharmaceutical formulations[4][2] using chromatography techniques.
- Biochem/physiol Actions: Anticonvulsant; ligand for the GABAA receptor benzodiazepine modulatory site. Sodium channel inhibitor.
