Description

  • General description: Quantitative reaction of sodium bisulphite with uracil and cytosine at pH 6 has been investigated.[1]Sodium bisulfite solution can be used in isolating carbonyl compounds like aldehydes, via derivatization, followed by solvent extraction.[2]
  • Application: Sodium bisulfite solution may be used for the production of SO3- radicals, by reaction with OH in irradiated aqueous solutions containing N2O. Chemistry of these radicals has been investigated by pulse radiolysis with kinetic spectrophotometry.[3]
  • Other Notes: The article number 13438-4X2.5L-R will be discontinued. Please order the single bottle 13438-2.5L-R which is physically identical with the same exact specifications. The article number 13438-6X1L-R will be discontinued.
