  • General description: Potassium chromate (K2CrO4) is an inorganic solid compound. It is mainly used as an oxidizing agent in the synthesis of organic compound.
  • Application: Potassium chromate is used as an oxidizing agent:In the conversion of primary and secondary alcohol into aldehydes and ketones using tetrabutylammonium hydrogen sulfate catalyst.Potassium chromate is also used:To prepare magnetoactive compound by reacting with iron(II) sulfate.As a reagent in the conversion primary allylic and benzylic halides to aldehydes.
