- General description: Tetrabutylammonium hexafluorophosphate (TBAHFP) is a quaternary ammonium salt, mainly used as electrolyte. It is soluble in solvents like liquid sulphur dioxide and methylene chloride.
- Application: TBAHFP has been used in the preparation of poly-3-methylthiophene combined with γ-cyclodextrin (P3MT/γ-CD) electrode using electrochemical synthesis method.[1]
- Other Notes: Supporting electrolyte soluble in organic solvents which is very stable[2]
