Description

  • General description: This Standard Reference Material (SRM) is intended for the calibration and performance testing of instruments used for the determination of the Brunauer-Emmett-Teller (BET) specific surface area (SSA) by the static volumetric gas sorption technique. A unit of SRM 2206 consists of one bottle containing approximately 5.1 g of high-purity granulated controlled-pore glass with a nominal pore diameter of 300 nm. For more information, please refer to the SDS and COA.SRM 2206_certSRM 2206_SDS
  • Application: Isolation, Characterization and Chemical Synthesis of Large Spectrum Antimicrobial Cyclic Dipeptide (l-leu-l-pro) from Streptomyces misionensis V16R3Y1 Bacteria Extracts. A Novel (1)H NMR Metabolomic Approach.: This study employed silica gel for the purification of antimicrobial compounds from bacterial extracts, highlighting its importance in the isolation of bioactive molecules for antimicrobial applications (Saadouli et al., 2020). Use of MALDI-TOF MS for the Identification of Chad Mosquitoes and the Origin of Their Blood Meal.: Silica gel was instrumental in the sample preparation for MALDI-TOF MS analysis, aiding in the identification of mosquito species and their blood meals, which is crucial for vector control studies (Diarra et al., 2019). Rapid Instant Thin-Layer Chromatography System for Determining the Radiochemical Purity of (68)Ga-DOTATATE.: This study employed silica gel thin-layer chromatography to assess the radiochemical purity of (68)Ga-DOTATATE, underscoring its application in quality control of radiopharmaceuticals (Bornholdt et al., 2018).
