- Application: N-Octanoyl-N-methylglucamine has been used in a study to assess disordered the N-terminus of PKA. [1] It has also been used in a study to investigate the usefulness of sugar surfactants as solubilizing agents in parenteral formulations. [2]
- Biochem/physiol Actions: Water soluble detergent with high solubilising power and non-denaturating properties. Readily removed by dialysis.; Does not interfere with the monitoring of proteins at 280 nm.
