Description
- Application: Nα-p-Tosyl-L-arginine methyl ester hydrochloride has been used as an esterolytic substrate to assess trypsin-like activity in midgut extracts.[1] It has also been used as a substrate for measuring trypsin activity of pancreatin[2] and human intestinal samples.[3]
- Biochem/physiol Actions: Nα-p-Tosyl-L-arginine methyl ester (TAME) binds to anaphase-promoting complex (APC) and prevents its activation by Cdc20 and Cdh1.
- Substrates: Substrate for trypsin,[4] thrombin,[4] plasmin,[5] and other proteases.
