- General description: C8 PEG2000 Ceramide, also known as N-octanoyl-sphingosine-1-{succinyl[methoxy(polyethylene glycol)2000]}, is a polyethylene glycol (PEG)-modified lipid. Ceramide-PEGylated lipoplexes deliver siRNA to targeted sites more efficiently than 1,2-distearoyl-sn-glycero-3-phosphoethanolamine (DSPE)-PEGylated lipoplexes.[1]
- Application: C8 PEG2000 Ceramide, or N-octanoyl-sphingosine-1-{succinyl[methoxy(polyethylene glycol)2000]} is suitable for PEGylated lipoplexes preparation.[1]
