- Application: Isobutylmagnesium bromide (iBuMgBr) is a general Grignard reagent used in the total synthesis of (+)-rishirilide B,[1] glucolipsin A,[2] and (+)-juvabione.[3] It can also be used as a reagent in the synthesis of pyrrolidine-based influenza neuraminidase (NA) inhibitors.[4]
