Description

  • General description: Basolite(TM) Z1200 has a zeolitic imidazolate framework (ZIF) constituted of metal ions and imidazolate anions. The structure of ZIF is analogous to that of silica-zeolites. ZIFs have high thermal stability.[1]
  • Application: Basolite®Z1200 (ZIF-8) based MOFs can be used in the fabrication of matrix membranes for gas separation processes such as hydrogen separation, and nitrogen recovery.[2] They are also used as fillers in the formation of PDMS based membranes for solvent resistant nanofitration (SRNF).[3] They are commercially utilized as porous materials for the absorption and sensing of pesticides.[3]
  • Other Notes: can be activated at 100°C (vacuum)
  • Legal Information: Basolite is a registered trademark of BASF SE
