Description
- Berichrom Protein C, a chromogenic functional activity assay, is used for the detection of hereditary or acquired protein C deficiencies in conjunction with other methods (antigenic determination, protein C clotting method) for the differential diagnosis of different protein C deficiency states
- The assay is also used for the monitoring of substitution therapy with protein C concentrates in congenital protein C deficiency
- The Berichrom Protein C assay is less susceptible to interfering substances than a clotting assay.
