- General description: α-tri-Calcium is a tasteless powder containing excess of calcium oxide. It is commonly used to introduce DNA and transfect eukaryotic cells for molecular biology experiments.
- Application: For analysis of bone cement; as standard.α-tri-Calcium phosphate has been used to transfect 293T and 231 cells with the PiggyBac LSS-mOrange- aspartate-glutamate-valine-aspartate (DEVD)-mKate2 transposon vector and in reporter verification studies.[2]
