- Biochem/physiol Actions: 3,3′-Diaminobenzidine (DAB) is a chromogenic substrate for peroxidase enzyme. It is converted to an insoluble precipitate after oxidation by peroxidase. This feature is exploited for visualization in histochemical (HC) and immunohistochemical (IHC) staining.[4]
- Packaging: Set consists of 4 x 100 ml Solution A and 15 ml Solution B.
- Caution: Stable for up to 18 mo. when stored at 2-8 °C in the original container.
- Quantity: Each DAB Two-component Liquid Substrate System will provide 500 mL of the DAB substrate solution.
