Description

  • PA5-33206 is suitable for use as a matched isotype negative control reagent to assess the level of non-specific binding of mouse IgG2a monoclonal antibodies in rat cells
  • This antibody has been tested and found to be negative on the following rat cells - peripheral blood leucocytes, thymocytes, splenocytes and macrophages
  • PA5-33206 recognizes the human CD45 antigen and therefore human leucocytes may be used as a positive control for this product
  • This antibody is not suitable for use as a negative control on human tissues
  • For FACS analysis, use 10 μL of the suggested working dilution to label 1x10^6 cells in 100 μL
  • Mouse IgG2a is a subtype of immunoglobulin G antibody that is produced by B cells in response to an antigen
  • It is the second most abundant IgG subtype in the serum and plays a crucial role in the adaptive immune response
  • Mouse IgG2a is composed of two heavy chains and two light chains, and it is involved in opsonization, complement activation, and antibody-dependent cell-mediated cytotoxicity
  • It is also involved in the regulation of immune responses, including the activation of T cells and the inhibition of B cell activation
  • Mouse IgG2a is widely used in research and diagnostic applications, including ELISA, Western blotting, and immunohistochemistry
  • It is also used in therapeutic applications, such as immunotherapy and vaccine development.
