- General description: Pyridoxal-phosphate (PLP, pyridoxal-5′-phosphate, P5P) is a prosthetic group of some enzymes. It is the active form of vitamin B6, which comprises three natural organic compounds, pyridoxal, pyridoxamine and pyridoxine.
