  • Application: L-proline has been used as a component of high-glucose-Dulbecco′s modified Eagle′s medium (HG-DMEM) for chondrocyte differentiation[2] and for the culture of chondrocyte-like cells.[3] It has also been used as a component of yeast nitrogen base for yeast cultures.[4]
